Every Kid, Every Day.At Playa del Rey Elementary School, we believe that the development of a responsible citizen involves family, school, and community support. We will model authentic relationships and instill the importance of being both respectful and responsible. We will give every child opportunities to develop positive self-worth, the motivation to reach their full academic potential, and the social skills necessary to become a contributing member of society.

We are delighted to offer our students the choice of conventional and accelerated classrooms Kindergarten - 6th grade so students can find the learning environment that fits their academic journey.

On our campus, we instill a culture of PRIDE - Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Empathy. PRIDE is built through our various initiatives available on campus such as our Acceleration Program, School Connect, VIK, SPICE II, and Building Blocks 3 & 4. Our students experience PRIDE through our many clubs and events like the Yearbook Club, Running Club, Student Council, Holiday House, Reading Under the Stars, and Veteran’s Day Assembly.
